SY. Chan has over 50 years experience in the international marine industry. In 2007, he founded the first Hafar company in Indonesia. Through his vast network, Hafar beacame a group of companies and flourished to become a successful and self-sufficient offshore EPCI company in Indonesia.
S.Y. Chan continues as CEO of Hafar Group.
Emier started his career in 1973 and has extensive experience in the upstream O&G, in Indonesia and overseas. He held pivotal roles in many start-up companies, the last of which was the formation of Hafar in 2007.
Emier remains as President Director of Hafar companies in Indonesia.
Graduated from ITB in 1988, Bekti Yulianto immediately joined the O&G workforce in the fabrication and engineering side. After several experience as Project Manager in offshore pipelaying, he joined during Hafar’s inception in 2007.
Bekti is a Director responsible for the company’s business development and marketing strategies.
A graduate of the University of Middlesex London in 1984, Desmond Ling started his career in the logging and plywood industry and quickly became the Finance Director. He later joined an iron and steel company. In 2012, he brought his specialized skill-set into the Hafar Group.
Desmond is a Director responsible for all finance, accounting and cost control activities of the business.
